JoeSportsFan

Very special treat for our readers today, as we debut the completely online-version of "The JoeSportsFan Show". No radio airwaves, no call-letters, no commercials, no local weirdos complaining that we're not talking enough about Tony La Russa.

Completely online.

We promise to keep the show homegrown - continuing to celebrate the absurdity of sports and striving to reference "Saved By The Bell" and crappy Nintendo sports games whenever possible.

Keeping with the "homegrown" theme, the weekly show will feature the critically-acclaimed (by our Moms) "Wiffle Ball" segment - as fans of our weekly St. Louis radio show know and love. This online "round table" highlighting sports topics from the "obscure" to the "more obscure" will feature prominent sports bloggers throughout our dear nation.

For the inaugural episode this week, we were tickled to be joined by some of the best in the biz; AJ Daulerio (Deadspin.com), Jamie Mottram (MisterIrrelevant.com) and Dan Steinberg (DC Sports Bog).

Among the topics covered; favorite ballyard concession item, traveling back in time, and "Double Dribble".  Riveting stuff, really.

Subscribe through iTunes.  Take a listen.  You can get there by clicking here.  Once you subscribe, all subsequent weekly shows will be automatically downloaded to your favorite mobile device starting with an "i".  Pretty sweet.

As always, we appreciate the feedback.

Was the heater broken in the building where Dan Steinberg had his picture taken and he needed the hat? Or is that his e-harmony profile pic?

Good show! I had been looking for a new podcast to add. But during the concessions segment, how did everyone miss the Cha-Cha bowl from Orlando Cepeda's place at AT

Nice. Now Imig can swear all he wants. Also, the only thing holding down the 590 show was the callers so good luck boys.

Garry Templeton

Until that magical day he saw them in the bleachers at Wrigley, Garry Templeton had always thought people were lying when they said white chicks had pink nipples.
