It's cold, it's snowy, it's months away from "the season", but if you drive past the local softball fields, don't be surprised if you catch a glimpse of a shadowy figure holding a $500 bat, a cooler and preparing to dominate.   Most people who play softball choose to take a break during the winter months.  Pansies.

Softball Guy has a word for them - it's all about mental and physical preparation during the off-season.  Okay, so that was 11 words, but brevity has never been my strong suit.  Fortunately, dropping bombs is - no matter the season.

Why is Softball Guy so confident that this summer is his year?  Take a look, chumps...

His hair is a little too normal to be a true softball warrior. We'll figure something out.

Softball Guy needs to do something with that hair. Either a nice fluffy mullet, flat-billed New Era cap, or maybe an extreme spike would really set that ensemble off. A line-beard would be the perfect matchup with the flat-billed cap. The mullet would set off the mustache. Just something to think about as Softball Guy gets everything together for the spring season.

Tim, well done. I'm tickled that someone noticed the Emanski reference.
Tim, February 24, 2009 10:02 AM
The Tom Emanski reference at 2:00 really ties the room together.

Warren Brusstar

Without fail, the first thing Warren Brusstar did when the Phillies arrived in a new city was spend his entire per diem dressing up and getting "Old Time Photos" taken.
