JoeSportsFan

Welcome back, meatsticks.

The skirts at JoeSportsFan.com interrupted yet another one of my iron throwing sessions and had me record some more chatter about my status as one of the premier softball players of this generation.

This week I figured I'd let everyone in on a little story about what happens when you don't allow Softball Guy to wear his requested jersey number.  Especially when I'm stepping down to play a game in a non-competitive league which, quite frankly, is a waste of my time.  Let's just say this little "incident" probably won't be happening again.

And apparently there were a lot of wannabes sending in questions and requests for tips on how they can become elite level players - even though we all know that is a freaking pipe dream.  So click "play" and consider yourself privileged...

Keep in mind you can follow your's truly on Twitter at @thesoftballguy.  Stop on by, give me a digital ass slap or two.  Already got a few cyber groupies following me.  All part of the business though.

Send in your weekly tips and questions to softballguy@joesportsfan.com.  Suck it.

"Shortstop was mouthin' at me. Told me he had a better mustache than I did." Fantastic.

I like the "like/dislikes" this go around. I do hope someone is keeping track of them over time.

Love the Mike Macenko reference.

The bubblegum chewing walks a fine line between "annoying" and "completely awesome" - exactly where it should be.

We smell a bubble gum commercial brewing with Softball Guy. What he chews when he's in the field, at bat - working the guns in the gym... Maybe it isn't even bubble gum!

Sherman Corbett

For the 1988 Angels media guide, Sherman Corbett insisted that he be recognized as a two sports star in college due to his spot on the varsity baseball team and the Texas A&M Mathletes.
