Collective-coupon sites are all the rage these days. In short, the more people you send the coupon to, the more enticing the deal gets. It’s like digital peer pressure. One such site, called Groupon.com released a coupon today good for 50% off at Jim Edmonds Steakhouse.
Nice attempt to upstage Ozzie’s new restaurant lunch this week.
Nevertheless, the most noteworthy thing about the coupon above is the inability of Edmonds’ restaurant and/or Groupon.com to recognize a tremendous half-off/half-shirt promotional tie-in.
“Half-off @ Half-shirt’s restaurant.” Something, anything.
It could’ve been magical.
