Brandon Marshall did his best Ryan Franklin impression today

This offseason, it was strongly rumored that the Rams were set to acquire WR Brandon Marshall.  In retrospect, it would have been wise; Marshall is on pace to have the best year of his career and a deep threat paired with Danny Amendola would make any man smile.  Especially Sam Bradford.  And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to see that million dollar Bradford grin?

But the Rams didn’t get Marshall.  The Chicago Bears did.  Nevertheless, the WR is still providing St. Louis with plenty of memories.  That is, reliving the brilliance of Albert Pujols underpants photobomb.  Stay with us on this one.

This morning, Brandon Marshall posted a photo on Twitter of him wearing some old college gear.  Unbeknownst to him, there was a naked man in the background of the photo.  After all, the picture was snapped in the Bears locker room.  Marshall quickly deleted the tweet, but the internet captures all.  And thus, we recall a similar event that occurred in the 2010 Spring Training.

Boom.

No big deal, right?

Just a picture from Cardinals reliever Ryan Franklin of singer David Nail, who is a frequent guest at the Cardinals Spring Training facility.

But, not so fast.

Because snarky bloggers have nothing better to do than sit around all day and wait for athletes to pop up in the background of photos wearing nothing but underpants, we noticed something particularly interesting about Franklin’s snap.

Yessir, that’s Mr. Albert Pujols, in his skivvies….looking, well, not so pleased that Franklin is snapping cell phone pictures so carelessly.

Like Brandon Marshall, Ryan Franklin quickly deleted the photo.  But the internet catches everything.  And Mr. Pujols also wasn’t too happy about that.  Fortunately, we don’t have to appease Mr. Pujols anymore.
