Cardinals reliever Brian Tallet isn’t winning any “Sexiest Ballplayer Alive” awards. He didn’t win any in Cleveland…or Toronto…and he isn’t going to win any in St. Louis.
But that’s part of his appeal. He deals with the unsexiness. In fact, he embraces it by seldom sporting a look that rivals prop actors in Silver Dollar City. But since being activated from the DL two weeks ago, he’s taken follicle creativity to a whole new extreme.
That’s a hair trifecta, for those counting at home.
A mustache, a mullet and neg-burns.
It’s extremely rare. By our calculations, Little Richard is the only other human to accomplish the hair trifecta in 1979, but he did it with a mustache, mullet and perm.
