Busch Stadium is hosting a bridal show. No, seriously.
Like most teams around the country, the Cardinals are searching for more and more ways to leverage their facilities during the baseball off-season. Truth be told, it’s a worthwhile endeavor since the Busch Stadium sits dormant for nearly six months of the calendar year.
While filling the stadium with 40,000 inebriated baseball fans during January is difficult, the Cardinals have found interesting ways to open up revenue streams at their stadium. One big money maker is weddings. Over the past few years, Busch Stadium has become the vogue venue in St. Louis for photographs, nuptials and receptions.
The Cardinals are taking advantage of this trend by hosting their second annual Bridal Show at Busch Stadium on Sunday, February 20th. More information is located here, but there was no way we were going to let this news pass by without having a little fun and envisioning some Busch Stadium wedding potential.
