A few weeks ago when the Cardinals were in New York, David Freese kicked his Twitter persona into high gear. In between posting photos of him and annoying Times Square celebrities, he sent out the following message…

The St. Louis clubhouse is one that is traditionally pretty dry and any personality that exists is usually kept behind close doors. Jon Jay and David Freese are a breath of fresh air; young talents that don’t mind interacting with fans. In fact, they embrace it. You can also add Daniel Descalso and a number of the young pitchers to that mix as well.
Freese and Jay both rate very high in terms of likability and candor, so we were excited to see what they cooked up with College Humor. They didn’t disappoint.
As charming as Freese is in the video above, it’s pretty incredible how terrible those Sonic Blast commercials were.
We blame Ricky Horton, of course. Fredbird is a cinematic hero and we’ll hear nothing else.
