Like most outlets across the country, ESPN.com rolled out their predictions for the World Series this morning.
For Texas, ESPN is expecting Josh Hamilton, Nelson Cruz and Adrian Beltre to have big series. And, why not? They’re the three main components of the Rangers offense. For St. Louis, it looks like they’re expecting big things from David Freese, Albert Pujols and, um, David Freese.
With his dominating performance in the NLCS, it would be awesome if the Cardinals really DID have two David Freese’s.
Although, that means the Cardinals would need two Daniel Descalso’s, so La Russa could insert them both in as defensive replacements in the 8th inning.
