It’s not a hardened barometer for public civility, but it’s usually not a good sign for an athlete when their Wikipedia entry contains a separate section entitled “Controversy” or “Troubles Off The Field”.

Such is the case for former Cardinals prospect Dmitri Young, otherwise known as Da Meathook.

This past weekend, Dmitri was booked on possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana – adding to his long and distinguished list of extracurricular infractions which includes punching a fan, substance abuse, domestic violence, alcoholism, obesity and one horrific Bobblehead doll.

We appreciate the creative effort of the Bobblehead artist and his attempt to capture something other than a traditional swing, but this is just a horrendous replica.

If he really wanted to capture the essence of Dmitri Young, he would’ve stuck a Jack in the Box taco in one hand and a container of Ranch dipping sauce in the other.  That’s the Dmitri we all know and love.
