PTI Debates the Percentages of Made-Up Howard/Pujols Hogwash…

On Tuesday’s edition of ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption”, hosts Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon debated the percentages of this whole “Ryan Howard for Albert Pujols” trade scenario.  Wonderful.

What’s odd to me (you know, beyond a national journalist essentially making up a story), is that PTI notably omitted the topic from Monday’s show lineup, even though it was the biggest “story” outside of anything related to March Madness.

Seemingly, they ignored the story because it had no basis for argument whatsoever.  So why come back 24 hours later and debate that same story’s chance of occurring?

Very strange.
