Every so often we playfully point out the bizarre behavior of some select St. Louis Cardinals fans. Someone starting the wave in the 9th inning of a tie game, adults wearing gloves 600 feet away from home plate, men taking off their shirts so everyone can see their Busch Stadium tattoo, and so on.
But there are also times when we stand up and say we’re proud to be Cardinals fans. Or more specifically in this case, we’re proud not to be a Reds fan. And surprisingly, this has nothing to do with the fact that Reds fans cheer on Jonny Gomes.
Instead it has to do with the fact that we’ve never been forced to comment on a photo of a random Cardinals fan treating the toe of an opposing fan like it was a Tootsie Pop during the middle of a baseball game.
We’ll let him explain:
“She didn’t lose a bet. She wasn’t over the top drunk. She was just a girl who saw a toe and threw caution to the wind and started sucking and licking. I took the best picture I could, but truth be told, I was a little taken aback.”
Let that serve as a lesson to all you Cardinals fans, if you see some bare feet behind you at a stadium it’s in your best interest not to lean back and put one of them in your mouth.
We don’t care how much it resembles a burnt hot dog.
