Stan Musial created some additional “Albert Pujols signs”…

On Wednesday, Cardinals legend Stan Musial displayed a rather simple wish-list for the holiday season: “All I want for Christmas is for Pujols to be a Cardinal.“ It was extremely touching (editor’s note: not manipulative, at all) for the sole reason that Stan Musial doing anything is, well, touching.
There was also the report that Musial, himself, called Albert Pujols on Wednesday night to give him one last franchise pitch. Again, very touching, but frankly we’re more interested to see who else is listed in Musial’s contact list. We’re guessing Pujols, Mike Shannon, some family and the entire cast of M.A.S.H.
Anyway, Stan isn’t taking the news of Pujols’ departure very well. In fact, he created a few more signs on Friday morning. We, of course, have exclusive access to his handiwork.
