The (re)acquisition of Cardinals 2B Aaron Miles has fans in a tizzy.  In recent memory, we can’t remember more public ambivalence from the Cardinals contingent since the Tino Martinez days.  Alright, maybe the (re)acquisition of Jeff Suppan compares – which actually occurred 11 days after the Cardinals added Aaron Miles to their roster.  Now we’re confused.  Oh, well.

Anyway, the public outcry against Aaron Miles and his perpetual poopiness hasn’t stopped STLToday.com from glorifying his motor…and effort…and grittiness…and hustle….and attitude.

And doing so with a snappy headline, nevertheless…

Jeff Gordon of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch wrote the column highlighted above.
