This afternoon, the media at large received a glimpse of Busch Stadium with all of its NLCS accoutrements. Most notably, NLCS logos on the home and visitor sides and additional bunting. Mmm, bunting. I would drape myself in bunting if it was socially acceptable.
Also included in the spread; freshly cut grass and some new outfield artwork.
The Cardinals have been quick to adopt the whole “Rally Squirrel” idiom, but this may be taking it a little far**.
** This isn’t real. Sending replies to disappointed emailers is like ruining Christmas. Especially in October when Cardinals fans are extra edgy.
