U2 coming to Busch Stadium on July 17, 2011

It was floated out as a rumor on Friday, but on Monday, the Cardinals finally confirmed that U2 will be featured as Busch Stadium’s headlining concert on July 17, 2011.
In a press conference at Busch Stadium, the Cardinals said that 90 percent of the tickets will be priced under $100 and total capacity is expected to exceed 50,000 – which will stand as the largest event ever held at Busch Stadium. Tickets go on sale November 8 at 10 am. More news to follow.
