Mizzou Bulletin Board Material – Week 2: Who’s Got Sheldon Richardson’s Back?


If Mizzou players don’t provide their weekly opponent with some bulletin board material, we’ll find someone out there who can.

When Mizzou DT Sheldon Richardson spouted off with a few unflattering words about his opponent in Week 2, it didn’t go over well with Georgia fans, players or his own head coach.  Richardson harmlessly called Georgia’s style of play “like watching Big Ten football. Old man football.”  And let’s be honest, watching the Big Ten is excrutiating.

Since when did talking a little yang become so taboo in the collegiate sports world?

All we know is that Richardson will have to back up his words tomorrow when the Bulldogs come into Faurot Field, but he wasn’t alone in his opinion that Georgia’s Week 1 win over Buffalo was tough to watch.  Some Tiger fans have your back, Big Shel…
