Someone goes to ESPN Gameday that has arrived on campus exclusively for the Mizzou-Oklahoma football game and holds up a sign talking about basketball? Not sure this is the right time or place unless there is some specific reason why begging ESPN to come back during basketball season is appropriate…
It doesn’t seem to make much sense to attempt to change the subject when the subject was so obvious, so we were curious as to who decided basketball was more important than a battle between the #1 and #11 BCS teams…
In case you can’t make him out, that there is Mizzou forward and Twitter All-American, Kim English (getting some TV time behind Erin Andrews). Like every other student/fan, he grabbed some posterboard and a Sharpie, went to work on a homemade sign and snatched up some real estate on the Quad for the show.
He may have a moment or two on the court that can cause some frustration, but between his natural scoring skill, his ability to keep everyone intrigued via Twitter and his public passion for the school he chose to accept an athletic scholarship from, chalk this up as another reason why Mizzou fans should appreciate Kim English.
