On Friday, my colleague Josh Bacott payed homage to a Ray Vinson Mortgage commercial.
Actually, the commercial has less to do with Ray Vinson and more to do Blues Hall of Famer Bernie Federko and his propensity to appear in some of the worst local network commercials ever produced. Relive the Ray Vinson magic here. Mmm, that high-five is spot on; a banner moment in Caucasian cinematic history.
Aspiring crappy network commercial actors should remember that this impeccable performance wasn’t Federko’s first. Nope. He’s a seasoned pro. How quickly we forget the “Cabinets, Flooring and More” cameo from 2010.

Unconfirmed rumor: the “more” is actually a warehouse full of stonewashed jeans signed by Federko himself.
