Rams quarterback Keith Null is pushing for the third string spot behind presumed starter Sam Bradford and backup AJ Feeley. His performance on Thursday night was solid, going 7-10 for 90 yards, one touchdown and one interception caused by a dropped pass.
Looking for any edge he can find, Null has decided to add one intangible to his resume – the Amish beard.
The heavy chin flow paired with a minimal mustache presence is believed by some holistic scounts to add strength and decision making skills on the football field. At least its hip with offensive lineman.
Don’t shave it, Keith. We need that beard sending in plays.
