As a free safety playing on the Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears, Jeff Fisher was surrounded by powerful lip sweaters — from Coach Mike Ditka to Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary to good looking fullback Matt Suey.  Now leading the St. Louis Rams, Fisher’s mustache will be honored and celebrated during the team’s 2012 home opener vs. the Washington Redskins and owner Daniel Snyder (a bare-faced mortal).

But just before the team was set to ring in his lower nose forestry unit, I sat down with Coach Fisher to discuss the state of  the coach’s mustache and whether the event is perhaps a crowning achievement to a fine career.
