Torry Holt Signs with Patriots

Since their meeting in Super Bowl XXXVI, the Rams and Patriots have enjoyed polarized levels of success.
The Patriots: six more playoff appearance, including two more Lombardi Trophies. The Rams: well, not so much.
That said, New England’s signing of Torry Holt on Tuesday sort of stings. Sure, he’s basically another washed up NFL wide-receiver, but it reminds us of all that once was good….and can be again, or not. Whatever.
Really, at the very least, we’re hoping that New England’s introduction of their new receiver comes at the cost of Torry Holt holding up his mangled finger – as he did during his introductory press conference last year with Jacksonville.
We have no idea why, or at what circumstances Torry Holt decided to hold up that *thing*….but here’s hoping he does it again; in front of a Patriots backdrop or not.
