JSF20: The One with Tim McCarver (and Batting Stance Guy)
2012
We say goodbye to our teenage podcasting and welcome Episode 20 to your eardrums. In our storied (read: unstoried) history, we’ve probably had more guests with nicknames than ones with real names (see: Rasmus Girl, St. Louis Blues Towel Man and the Cardinals Cowboy). This week is no different.
His real name is Gar Ryness, but more affectionately, he’s known across the interwebs as “Batting Stance Guy”.
Most of our listeners have seen his videos and we were excited to welcome him into the digital dojo to test his knowledge of past Cardinals batting stances.
Featured Guests: Batting Stance Guy
JoeSportsFan Original: “Twenty Questions” (15:10)
Random, yet contextual, St. Louis sports references: Lou Brock, Taylor Twellman, Hugh Grant, Willie McGee, Joe Mather, Jim Edmonds, Calvin and Hobbs, “Heck of a Year” and “That’s a Winner”.

One of the better shows you’ve put out so far. Awkward Sebek laugh inserted into Randy/Warren clip would have been perfect.
